CCCS Chapel–Is That Really So Wrong?

In this chapel service from Cross Creek Christian School on May 16, 2019, Steve helps the students think through how we know things are wrong, why we sin, and the danger of rejecting God’s truth about right and wrong.

Key Verses:

  • “Yet if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin. For I would not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”” (Romans 7:7)
  • “Whoever commits sin also transgresses the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.” (1 John 3:4)
  • “Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.” (Galatians 6:7)
  • “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and shrewd in their own sight!” (Isaiah 5:20-21)
  • “He who justifies the wicked and he who condemns the righteous are both alike an abomination to the LORD.” (Proverbs 17:15)

Stay in the Battle!
