God has given His kids a powerful tool to use that brings Him great glory. Unfortunately, many selfish people see prayer as a hopeful way to get what they selfishly want. That’s not the purpose of prayer. But when we pray as God intends for us to pray, as a way to cooperate with Him in accomplishing His will here on the earth, it becomes a source of great power and joy. “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)
