Pray for Daniel Hall, one of our Texas sons, who has been going through a tough time in his life. He’s been struggling with discouragement and depression, but he seems to be doing much better the past couple of weeks.
Pray for Jack’s coworker, who actually prayed for the first time in a long time, as Jack seeks to be a tool in God’s hands in the coworker’s life.
Pray for Natalie’s coworkers as well, as she also seeks to be a tool in God’s hands in their lives.

Today’s Bible Study: Romans 6:2-4 Baptized Into Christ
Welcome! John (Deuce) Hinton was in our class for the first time today! Deuce is Jenni’s son. He’s a third-year engineering student at UTK.
Aaron & Michelle Haun’s wedding Saturday went beautifully! The Lord is so good!
Praise the Lord! After coming through some very severe storms near Crossville and again near Memphis yesterday evening, with the accompanying slowdowns in traffic (accidents, a tree and debris in the highway), we made it to our son, Josh’s, home here near Dallas Monday afternoon. Pray that the Lord will use us, especially in the life of another of our sons, Daniel, during the next few days.
Don & Caroline are in Atlanta this weekend.
Harry is in Florida this weekend.
Please pray for Natalie to have wisdom as she tries to represent Christ and share the gospel with her co-workers.
Please pray for Jack and Randy’s boss and their communications with him. He is an atheist.

Aaron & Michelle’s wedding is this Saturday, 6/23/23 at 3:00 PM in our Worship Center!
April’s friend’s niece, Jordy Mitchell, 27, has cancer that has spread throughout her body, apparently from undetected breast cancer.
John White has a situation at work requiring him to make a difficult decision about his future position and responsibilities.
Conner has strong Christian friends in the self-defense training company he trains with that have been given an unexpected and unreasonable 30-day eviction notice. They need a new place for their business.
Vickie is praying for a new compounding person to be hired at the store so that she can back off her work responsibilities and hours.
Tammy & Shawma are having to leave after worship because of responsibilities they have with their granddaughter that they are bringing to church with them.

Aaron’s dad, Michael, has lost 75 pounds and is still very anemic and weak. His spleen is swollen. They have still not determined the cause of his problems.

Eric Efaw is a resident at Starr Regional Nursing Home who prayed to receive Jesus with Steve last Saturday, 4/22/23.
Tyler Schofield Is the Nephew of Adam, a friend & co-worker of Harry Headrick. He’s 23 and was in a horrible accident that will at best leave him blind or brain-damaged. He was impaled in his head with some type of metal and is in bad shape in the hospital.
Don Oliver is still dealing with macular degeneration in one eye. So far, the injections haven’t seemed to help.
Troy Hudgins, Steve & Vickie’s 12-year-old grandson, is dealing with multiple compression fractures in his upper back.
Kelly White is dealing with very difficult neuropathy in her hands and feet as a result of chemotherapy.
Natalie Headrick is taking final exams this week and traveling back to Tennessee this Saturday, 4/29/23!
Steve will be beginning a Wednesday evening Veritas study at our church on Wednesday evening, May 17, at 6:30 in room 211.

Pastor Hollie’s wife, Paula, now has the respiratory infection that Hollie himself had last week.
John & Kelley White’s son, John, is moving here from Nashville. John is working on a place for him to live.

Steve & Vickie’s granddaughter, Lucy, is now back in Knoxville with her mom.
Amber McCosh is dealing with cancer, but it is shrinking. She is also having neurology issues (having trouble holding on to things, dizziness, and balance) that stem from several back surgeries in the past. She has degenerative joint and disc disease that has caused massive nerve damage. She is also working very long hours (8 straight 12-hour days).
Miriah Henderson is beginning to get back some energy, but she is still having a difficult pregnancy. Her due date is September 28.

The Lord used Mark Moses in a fabulous way to open up Nehemiah 4 to us today! It’s amazing how much encouragement God has packed into this chapter for our benefit. I seriously NEEDED this study today! Lord willing, Mark will continue our Nehemiah study on March 19. And, Lord willing, I will be leading us to dig back into Romans 5 this coming Sunday, 3/12/23.
PTL! Major Frerichs’s 6th-grade brother, Henry, joined our class today!
PTL! Speaking of 6th-graders: a 6th-grade revival of sorts is happening at Cross Creek, where I teach and serve as Chaplain. Two of our 6th-grade boys (Sawyer and David) trusted Jesus for the first time this week! And several other 6th graders seem to be very seriously recommitting themselves to the Lord!
PTL! The Lord took Kasey Moses to safety this week after a harrowing experience with an aggressive driver trying to get her to pull over.
PTL! The Lord has enabled Nancy Garrett and her son, Landon, to find a vehicle for him!

Tammy Saffles has had melanoma surgery on her upper arm.
Pat Presley is having prostate surgery this week.
Willie Brackin (John & Kelly White’s friend who had part of a brain tumor removed a few weeks ago) has now been diagnosed with stage-4 brain cancer.
Kerry Miller’s dad is being sent to a kidney specialist.
Lucy Hall seems to be doing much better and it looks like she may be coming home this month, but please pray for real spiritual victory for her.
Dave Hall (Steve & Vickie’s son) is living with Steve & Vickie on a temporary basis.
Corban (Mike & Shirley Dewberry’s grandson) almost certainly has Crone’s disease, but they are taking him to a different doctor for a second opinion.
Trey Dawson will be leaving this week for Parris Island, S.C. for basic training in the U.S. Marines.
