  1. Why is the study of apologetics more urgent today than it was 50 years ago? 
    1. The culture is much more secularized. There are more people who reject God and the Bible and who are willing to speak up about their unbelief and ask tough questions. 
  2. What does the word “Veritas” mean? 
    1. Truth
  3. Why was the word “Veritas” chosen for the name of the original club? 
    1. It’s the motto of Harvard U. They no longer believe in truth, but we do.
  4. Give an brief outline of  of the events that led to Steve putting together the Veritas material
    1. Doubts that troubled him in the 1960s
    2. Concern at TPHS of kids who were not equipped to handle tough questions

    1. Most don’t see the need. A lot of the information is about the Bible, but not all is from the Bible.
  9. How did Jesus say that we are to love God?
