    1. It might seem that because heaven is a free gift, and because Jesus died to pay for our sins, that maybe everybody gets to go to heaven automatically. But that’s not what the Bible teaches. The Bible teaches that we must receive the gift. And we receive it by something that the Bible calls “faith.”

    1. A leap in the dark. Totally subjective opinion with evidence.

    1. Urge them to pray their own prayer telling Jesus that they realize that they have sinned, that they are sorry for their sins, that they are transferring their trust from themselves to Jesus, and that they are inviting Him to be their Savior and Lord,

  11. What are some things to remember if you invite others to pray the prayer after you?
    1. These are not magic words.
    2. God is not interested in the words as much as He is our hearts.
    3. Their life from now on will be the way they can tell if they were serious about the prayer.
    4. Consider praying for them first, then invite them to pray after you. When you have completed that prayer pray enough words all together that they know they are not to repeat them.
