    1. a kind of status symbol for him. Soldiers wore their Roman belts even when they weren’t on duty. It set them apart  as being men who had accepted the high calling of Caesar to be Roman soldiers.

    1. Truth is what corresponds to reality. We have to discern what reality is. We DON’T get to make up reality in our own minds and then pretend that it’s real.
