   1. principalities, against powers, the rulers of the darkness of this world, spiritual wickedness in high places

   1. People (“flesh and blood”)
3. Then why do some people seem to despise Christians and consider us to be their enemy?
   1. They are pawns of Satan, blinded and used by him for his evil purposes.

5. Why are some Christians embarrassed to talk about Satan and his demons?
   1. They may get ridiculed or laughed at or scorned by people who consider themselves highly educated (with a secularized education) or too sophisticated to believe in demons.

   1. No. If we compromise God’s Truth on one issue, they will insist that we compromise on the next issue on their list

   1. all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted (2 Timothy 3:12)

   1. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. (Luke 10:19)

    1. God is using all these challenges and trials to make us more like Jesus
