John 14:01-14–Comfort from Jesus–Part 1

Part one of a two-part study of John 14. Shared with the Adult 5B Bible Fellowship Class at Sevier Heights Baptist Church on 12/15/2013.

Topics: The amazing way Jesus comforted his followers when His own horrific arrest, scourging, and crucifixion were only hours away. In what sense did Jesus have to prepare us a place? One of the most controversial verses of the Bible forces us to decide whether we worship the Jesus of the Bible or a Jesus of our own imagination. Our unity with Jesus, the Father, the Holy Spirit. In what sense do we do greater works than Jesus? What it means to pray in His Name. Prayer as spiritual warfare.

(Part two of the John 14 study can be heard in a subsequent podcast.)
