Job 29-31–Conquering Sexual Temptations

Recap of the entire book of Job. How Job, the oldest book in the Bible, anticipates New Testament teaching. Learning to recognize the present times of blessing instead of only dwelling on the past or anticipating the future. The mistake of presumption. Learning to handle the times when God seems to make no sense to us. Parallel of Job 31 with the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7). Job’s “oaths of clearance.” Job’s “covenant with his eyes.” The incredibly difficult time young people face in our day with sexual temptation. How we can practically help them win those battles.
