Ezekiel 34–False Shepherds

God has a lot to say in His word about False Prophets. But there is a great deal of confusion about the subject. On the one hand, there is a danger that false prophets will not be recognized as such. On the other hand, there is also a danger that true followers of Christ will be wrongly labeled as false prophets. We must learn to be discerning. And discernment is not based on a simple “gut feeling” that we may identify as being the Holy Spirit. Discernment comes as the Spirit illuminates God’s Word in our hearts. Discernment is the result of careful Bible study!
