1 Peter 3:08-12 (Part 3)

In these verses, Peter, inspired by the Holy Spirit, quickly lists 13 commands that are important for all believers, especially when we are going through tough times (when it’s easy for us to get too self-absorbed.) This study is the 3rd of 4 looks at these 5 verses.

Topics: How Proverbs are to be taken as general life principles, not as specific promises.  The dangerous power of the tongue. The temptation to use the tongue to deceive. Times when deception is a good thing. How praying for positive ministries and activities for us to become involved in can keep us from temptation to sin.

This is a Bible study shared with the residents at McMinn Memorial Nursing Home on May 23, 2015.
