Homebirth Testimony

(This Homebirth testimony was written by a mom who had just had her fifth baby--her first at home.)

I chose homebirth because of the relaxation in my own home that bought a real sense of peace to my mind and body.

I chose Vickie first of all because of her caring expression of deep love for expectant mothers and infants. Her love, wisdom, and experience worked hand in hand in meeting mother's needs.

The things I enjoyed the most were the privacy, my family being involved, and the God-given patience that you, Vickie, had through my whole nine months, up until the delivery of my baby. You were terrific!

In my own personal opinion there is no comparison to having a baby in the comfort of your own home. Words cannot be expressed on paper what a home delivery really is. A mother would really have to experience it for herself to compare the inward feelings of a homebirth compared to a hospital birth.

And, yes, I recommend it for moms who want the best for their baby as well as themselves. Most of all, having the freedom back that was first there in having a baby, knowing that birth is not a complicated experience, but a sure blessing from God, the Creator of life.
