Interpreting the Bible Wisely

After some conversation with my son, Tim, I realized that the previous podcast (“Study the Bible with a Bible Scholar”) raises questions. How do you discern good commentary from bad commentary? good teachers from bad ones?

This podcast (17 minutes) is an attempt to clarify a bit. The second part of this podcast is taken from a page from our aboundingjoy.com web pages. On that page (which you can find here) I give a brief overview of tips, with examples, for good  Bible hermeneutics (interpretation). In this podcast I move through those tips pretty quickly. So you may wish to have a look at the other page called, “Principles for Understanding the Bible.”

Hope this helps! Stay in the Battle!
